Rosenblatt Recitals

Dear subscriber,

We are delighted to announce that following the success of the first ever Branscombe Festival in 2013, the Festival will return to the stunning Devonshire village of Branscombe on Friday 25 – Sunday 27 July 2014.

Branscombe Festival 2014

Over three days the Branscombe Festival will present performances from leading stars of opera, classical music and jazz. Of particular interest to Rosenblatt Recitals supporters will be the opera gala on the Saturday evening, featuring soprano (and past-recitalist) Ailish Tynan with tenor Luis Gomes, accompanied by renowned pianist and Festival curator Iain Burnside. Other performers include vocal ensemble I Fagiolini, cellist Philip Higham, the UK’s only fully professional ragtime band Albert Ball’s Flying Aces with guest vocalist Patricia Hammond, and dance band The Leo Green Experience, back for the second time by popular demand. This year the Festival culminates in a free concert on Branscombe beach by the Band of the Royal Marines.

For more about the Festival, the performers, and information on how to book, please visit the Branscombe Festival website: www.branscombefestival.co.uk

Rosenblatt Recitals subscriber 2 for 1 ticket offer!

Dennis O'NeillAs a thank-you for your continued support, we are pleased to offer you 2 for 1 tickets to our 5 May recital featuring legendary Welsh tenor Dennis O’Neill.

A long-time friend of the Rosenblatt Recitals, O’Neill returns to the series for the first time since the move to Wigmore Hall. A stalwart of the Royal Opera House, he has given over two hundred performances at Covent Garden alone, covering all of the great Verdian tenor roles. Showcasing his talent in another light, O’Neill’s recital programme contains a wonderful selection of songs by Pergolesi, Gluck, Scarlatti, Paisiello, Donizetti, Verdi, Puccini and Tosti. Visit our website to browse the full programme.

To redeem the 2 for 1 ticket offer, simply ring the Wigmore Hall Box Office on 020 7935 2141 and quote ‘newsletter subscriber’.

Don’t forget that between now and then there is another recital from young Italian tenor Antonio Poli on 2 April!

We do hope you can join us for both of these fantastic recitals.

With best wishes from everyone at Rosenblatt Recitals.
