2014/15 marks the 25th anniversary of Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s period-instrument Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique.

For this celebratory concert the orchestra brings its distinctive brisk energy and genuinely thrilling sound to Beethoven’s 5th Symphony and Leonore overture, as well as Berlioz’s cantatas La Captive and La Mort de Cléopâtre.

They are joined for one concert only by soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci.
